“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
It's all about the feels
I am totally not all about that perfectly posed, studio portrait that exists emotionless. I want to capture your spirit and essence in the pictures you will share with generations to come. When I work with families, I am always looking for the way light falls on their faces, the way children interact with their siblings and parents, and also with the world around them.
Graduates
Graduating highschool and/or college is a big thing, and a great reason to have your portrait captured. Albums, prints, and announcement cards are all products we can help you design to share your accomplishments with those you love.
Maternity
Pamper yourself as you are getting ready for the birth of your sweet baby. Share with your child the secret your body contained and the love your held inside for 9 months. It is best to schedule your photoshoot after the ending of your first trimester, and schedule it between month 7 and 8 before you are too tired or risk going into early labor and miss the opportunity all together.
Newborn
Congratulations! Your baby has arrived! If you pre-booked your session, call me the day after your baby is born so we can get a date set in stone. If your baby has already been born, call me as soon as possible to set up a date and time. Newborn sessions should be done in the first 2 weeks after baby has been born. If you wait till the last minute, I may not have schedule availability.
They grow up so fast!
Did you know that by simply hanging your family portrait in a prominent place in your home, it will promote the connection of family, of roots, and will lend to a boost in your child's self esteem? It is a constant reminder of your family's bond, and that you all belong to each other.
